Stebbins High School Symphonic Band

The Stebbins High School Symphonic Band is a premier auditioned ensemble dedicated to musical excellence, artistry, and performance at the highest level.

With a long-standing tradition of success, the Symphonic Band performs some of the most challenging and rewarding literature at the district, state, and national levels. Students in this ensemble earn honors credit and commit to a year-long experience of focused rehearsal, refinement, and growth as musicians.

The group has consistently earned Superior Ratings at OMEA District 12 Adjudicated Events and has been recognized at prestigious festivals including the National Adjudicators Invitational and the Dixie Classic Festival—earning Honor Band titles, Superior Ratings, and numerous soloist and section awards. Additional performances at events such as Music for All, Music in the Parks, and even on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C., highlight the ensemble’s wide-reaching performance history.

Over the years, the Symphonic Band has received praise from renowned composers such as David Holsinger and Mark Camphouse and continues to grow through collaboration with respected clinicians including Dr. Shelley Jagow and Dr. Linda Hartley of Wright State University and the University of Dayton.

Driven by discipline, artistry, and a shared pursuit of excellence, the Stebbins Symphonic Band represents the highest level of musicianship within the Stebbins High School music program.
